The District Court in Katowice has issued a final judgment in the case of naturopath Tomasz S., sentencing him to a one-year suspended prison sentence. The man was found guilty of defrauding and endangering the lives of two women suffering from malignant tumors. The women came to Tomasz S. hoping for a cure.
Tomasz Sz. allegedly exploited the hopes of seriously ill women by offering them expensive "therapies" without any medical basis. He rented a device that, he claimed, removed parasites and fungi. "He's a fraud and a liar. He told my wife to stop treatment, telling her she didn't have cancer. He made her expose herself to this lamp for three months, and the other woman for almost a year. Both are dead," Mr. Władysław told Fakt.
