Enraged because his wife went out drinking and refused to come home, Y Chương Byă vandalized property, then gathered clothes, doused them with gasoline, and set them on fire, burning down two rooms in his wife's parents' house.
(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Seeing his wife appear in a Facebook video, drinking beer and dancing with friends, Y Chuong Byă called her and asked her to come home, but she refused. Enraged, he destroyed property and set fire to the house.
The police in M'Drắk commune (Đắk Lắk province) have initiated criminal proceedings against Y Chương Byă (21 years old) for the act of destroying property. He did this out of anger over his wife drinking beer and appearing in a live-streamed video on Facebook, leading him to pour gasoline and set fire to his wife's parents' house.
