He managed to win two Grand Prix races and his career was mostly connected with the Tyrrell team, where he also participated in the creation of the unique six-wheeled P34. A few days ago it was 45 years since French F1 pilot Patrick Depailler tragically died during a training drive at the Hockenheimring.
