Sylvia Allheily, a 38-year-old resident of Justey, Haute-Saône, has had multiple sclerosis since she was 20 years old. In March 2018, she was diagnosed with the progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (LEMP), a disease that affects the brain. Since then, she has been living with pain. While the issue of the end of life is being debated in the National Assembly, she has taken steps to be euthanized in Belgium.
