- Hateful and homophobic graffiti also appeared in Winnipeg at Jinnah Park, Eaglewood Park, and the Bridgwater Trails Fountain over the weekend, prompting immediate cleanup by city crews.
- Janice Lukes explained that police must assess racist and homophobic vandalism before cleanup, as premature removal could impede investigators' ability to identify those responsible.
