Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday announced that the State Cabinet approved a 100 per cent exemption on vehicle tax for the registration of electric vehicles costing up to Rs 30 lakh. Following Delhi's lead, Haryana has taken a major decision. Registration tax exemptions will be granted for non-transport vehicles purchased in the name of women in the state. Furthermore, electric vehicles up to ₹30 lakh will receive a 100% registration fee waiver. Vehicles priced above ₹30 lakh will receive a 50% discount.
The Haryana government has made a major announcement for unemployed CET-qualified youth. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that beginning November 1, 2026, CET-qualified youth will receive honorarium under the Saksham Yuva Yojana. Those who remain unemployed two years after passing the CET will receive financial assistance and 100 hours of work under the scheme.
