Harry Waters to bring Pink Floyd legacy concert to Albany
The 10-piece production will feature songs from Pink Floyd’s 1971-1979 catalog and a stage show built from Roger Waters’ original visuals.
Roger Waters and his son Harry Waters announced 'Legacy – A Pink Floyd Show,' a new touring production launching in 2027 celebrating Pink Floyd's "golden era" across North America and Europe.
Under Roger Waters' direction, the show features a 10-piece band led by Harry Waters performing selections from "The Dark Side Of The Moon," "Wish You Were Here," "Animals" and "The Wall." Waters will not perform but serves as creative director.
Harry Waters selected vocalist Clifton David Broadbridge after personally reviewing more than 3,000 audition submissions. Broadbridge, a Nashville-based Canadian singer, will recreate the vocals from Pink Floyd's classic albums.
Tickets for the 58-date North American tour go on general sale October 2. The production begins February 15, 2027, in Columbus, Georgia, and runs through September 25 in St. Louis, visiting more than 100 cities.
After Harry Waters' departure from his father's touring band in 2016, the pair reunited for this project. Roger Waters said, "I'm excited for audiences to come together and experience them live again.
