Oconee County Schools has a familiar face at the helm. Debra Harden, who served as superintendent from 1993-1999, has officially returned to the role in the interim. Although Harden did not grow up in Oconee, it has become her home.  At the Board of Education meeting where Harden was sworn in, she greeted each person in the room.
