A man who shot his former partner in the head with a black powder weapon and fled in Swarzędz (Greater Poland Voivodeship) on Saturday is facing life imprisonment. The 51-year-old was arrested by police on Sunday and charged with attempted murder. During his testimony, Remigiusz Z. testified that he did it out of love, the prosecutor's office announced.
Hanna H., 46, from Swarzędz near Poznań, is in critical condition after being shot in the head by her ex-partner. After a two-day manhunt, the man was apprehended. According to "Fakt," he was hiding in cardboard boxes near a church. "Remigiusz Z. pleaded guilty and explained that he did it out of love," says prosecutor Łukasz Wawrzyniak of the District Prosecutor's Office in Poznań.
