Two Hallettsville men were arrested after Lavaca County sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle for traffic violations, according to the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies identified the occupants as Andrew Welch and Kyle Redding. According to the sheriff’s office, a search of the vehicle revealed about eight grams of methamphetamine concealed inside the vehicle. Welch and Redding were each charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Lavaca County Jail.
