Bratislava, October 7 (TASR) - Reduced fares by 50% in the second class of trains running in public interest will continue in November and possibly even in December. Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) announced this on Wednesday after a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic, at which they discussed preferential fares on railways.
The half-fare for second-class passengers, which the government introduced in response to rising fuel prices, will continue in November.
