Beijing Plans Big Expansion of Tariff-Free Access to Hainan From December

HAINAN, CHINA, JUL 23 – Hainan expands duty-free imports to 74%, covering 6,600 goods, to boost trade and attract investment as part of its free-trade port development plan.

A separate customs zone will be established in the tropical island province from mid-December, enhancing its free-trade credentials.
