- "I'm comfortable with her pushing me," Bieber said of Medrano, noting she grew up hearing family speak Portuguese with "thick accents" that helped her embrace her body.
- Proceeds from the magazine will support the Center for Immigrant and Refugee Women in Paulo, with Bieber matching donations in full. Other featured "ICE girls" include Juliana Nalu, Tina Kunakey, and Evellin Andrade.
