- Customers received a mobile app notification on Tuesday titled "Asos hacked" that directed them to a Telegram account and referenced cloud firm Snowflake, which stores data for many major companies.
- Although the attacker accessed personal details, Asos clarified that no payment card information or account passwords were compromised, stressing that "Certain non-personal account-related information" was accessed.
- In an email on Thursday morning, the company told Customers to "Remain cautious" of unexpected messages claiming to be from Asos, emphasizing the website and app "Remain safe" to use.
- Snowflake said it "Found no compromise" of its platform after investigating, while Asos added it has already strengthened security controls and will continue its full investigation.
