Breaking News: Multiple country code top-level domains hijacked; Google urgently blocks unauthorized TLS certificates via Chrome.

An attack on the three-extension national domain name system resulted in fraudulent TLS certificates for several domains from Google and other organizations. Google blocked the certificates it identified, but warned that Chrome’s intervention does not guarantee protection for all users or rule out undetected certificates.
