In addition, Habitat is currently seeking sponsors for its 2026 Hard Hats & High Heels Gala, which will take place on Sept. 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. Sponsorship opportunities range from $250 “Foundation Builder” sponsorships to the “Raise the Roof Champion” sponsorship at $10,000. Sponsorship benefits include event recognition, social media exposure, website visibility, networking opportunities, and participation in one of the area’s premier philanthropic events. The Hard Hats & High Heels Gala serves as Habitat for Humanity of Wood County’s largest annual fundraising event and brings together community leaders, businesses, volunteers, and supporters to help build strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership. Guests attending the September gala can enjoy an evening featuring live music, cocktails, chef-curated dining, silent and live auctions, and experiences available through the auction program. Event tickets are $100 per person and attendance is limited. “Every sponsorship, ticket purchase, and fundraiser participation helps local families build a stronger future through affordable housing,” said Mark Ohashi, executive director. “Whether someone enters the Drone Drop, purchases a gala ticket, or becomes a sponsor, they are helping create life-changing opportunities for families throughout Wood County.” Drone Drop entries can be purchased at https://5konthefairway.com/shop/drone-drop-2026. Gala tickets and sponsorship information are available at wchabitat.org/gala.
