Haaltert fence dispute ends in failed reconciliation

After a failed reconciliation procedure at the justice of the peace about an illegal fence on the sidewalk in Haaltert, the municipality and the resident involved have finally reached a compromise. The resident had placed a concrete post and plate on the public sidewalk at the end of last year. He will now remove them, other posts on the sidewalk may remain.
