Plymouth County Fair crowns queen, king

Addison Kovarna, daughter of Josh and Van Kovarna of Hinton, was crowned queen of the Plymouth County Fair. Max Schnepf, son of Matt and Angie Schnepf of Le Mars, was crowned king.

H-LP grad crowned fair queen

A recent Harris-Lake Park graduate and future Morningside College student was crowned Dickinson County Fair Queen Saturday evening. Kendal Niemeier will study biology and pre-dentistry while playing on the basketball team at the college in Sioux City. Among her duties as queen, she passed out the ribbons and awards during the various livestock competitions while taking time out to show her goats as well.
