In a major crackdown on cow smuggling, the Chanchauda police in Guna district seized a container containing 31 bovine animals. The animals were crammed into the container in an inhumane manner. Police arrested four suspects on the spot. Investigation revealed that the container used for smuggling had a fake number plate to conceal its true identity. During the operation, police seized approximately 28 cattle.
