- Additional Chief Secretary Jayanti Ravi authorized district collectors to declare school holidays based on rainfall conditions, while officials cancelled leave for staff in 13 rain-affected districts with one Class-I officer deployed for 24/7 supervision.
- Authorities deployed National Disaster Response Force and State Disaster Response Force teams to vulnerable areas to facilitate safe evacuation of residents to relief shelters equipped with food and medical facilities.
- The Roads and Buildings Department has begun removing hazardous hoardings and dilapidated structures as a precaution, while officials appealed to all citizens to remain indoors unless absolutely necessary due to strong winds and storm conditions.
