Guinea-Sierra Leone: a Cédéao Mission to Assess the Border Dispute Between the Two Countries

Cédéao, the Economic Community of West African States, confirms that it has sent a technical mission to Sierra Leone to assess the border dispute with Guinea around the village of Yenga. This territory in the eastern part of the country has been occupied by the Guinean army since the Sierra Leonean civil war, which ended in 2002, despite several restitution agreements.
