The Ontario Provincial Police is urging the public to wear life jackets when out on the water. This comes after the OPP responded to ten marine fatalities in eastern Ontario, including two in Quinte so far this summer, more than double the number of drowning deaths at this time last year. Ontario Provincial Police say life jackets can save lives, but only if you wear them.
