Guatemalan Public Prosecutor's Office Arrests Network of Taxi Drivers Accused of Several Robberys and 23 Homicides - Proceso Digital

The Guatemalan Public Prosecutor's Office captured 12 persons linked to a gang of “pirate” taxi drivers accused of theft and at least 23 homicides committed in public service vehicles. According to prosecutor Edwin Marroquín, security forces carried out 11 raids for the capture of a total of 18 taxi drivers, six of whom are still pending being located. In addition, 10 vehicles allegedly used in the crimes were seized during the operations.
