Cars taken in overnight burglaries

Police are appealing for information after cars were stolen in two burglaries which took place in the space of two hours.

The Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Police Headquarters issued a warning after the Sárospatak Police Headquarters initiated proceedings against a 20-year-old man from Tiszakarád for the arbitrary taking of a vehicle and theft.

Five minutes is enough to steal a car. It takes burglars from two to ten minutes to clear out a flat. The number of so-called "fast actions" is also increasing. "Old methods that have not been seen in Poland for the last 20 years are coming back," says a security specialist.
