On 24 July 2010 the Loveparade in Duisburg became a nightmare: 21 people were killed, there were more than 650 injured. Hessians and Hesse also witnessed the catastrophe - among others the then 18-year-old Maximilian Fleischhacker and techno DJ Felix Kröcher.
