- An independent investigation conducted over a period of seven months by the law firm Lewis Silkin was initiated following a BBC News report that uncovered inappropriate sexual remarks and behaviour occurring over a span of 19 years.
- Banijay UK stated Wallace's return to MasterChef was untenable due to sustained allegations and highlighted failures in past reporting and HR procedures prior to 2016.
