Greenville United to compete in 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) -- Greenville United, the only semi-professional soccer team in the region, will be participating in the 2026 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup for the first time in club history. According to a press release, the tournament is the oldest and largest national soccer tournament in the United States.
