Starting Monday, June 16, 2025, SacRT will temporarily suspend Green Line light rail service to allow for major construction in the Railyards area, including the addition of a new light rail station at 7th Avenue and Railyards Boulevard. The closure is expected to last through summer 2026 and will only impact one light rail station, the 7th & Richards/Township 9 Station, since all the other stops are served by either Blue or Gold line trains. …
