Greece’s Rating Upgraded by S&P on Economic Strength

Greece’s credit rating was raised by S&P Global Ratings, the third upgrade in just over a month as credit assessors continue to welcome the country’s economic turnaround and improved debt outlook.

The credit rating agency S&P upgraded the Greek economy to BBB from BBB-, with the outlook stable from positive. S&P had given Greece investment grade in October 2023, while in April 2024 it had upgraded its credit outlook to positive.
