Greater Cleveland to gain 300+ jobs as state approves 2 development projects
Two Greater Cleveland projects will create over 300 jobs supported by state tax credits, including 152 at Applied Metal Technologies and 175 at East Trailers.
- On Monday, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced Vertiv is investing approximately $50 million to expand its Westerville headquarters and Ironton manufacturing facility, creating 730 new jobs.
- State support includes a $1,000,000 JobsOhio Grant in Delaware County and a $3,000,000 grant in Lawrence County to bolster engineering, services, and manufacturing functions.
- Greene County will also see growth as Resonant Sciences expands with a new defense technology facility, creating 101 new jobs focused on producing radomes for military aircraft.
- Separately, Haven Services officially launched home services operations in the Cleveland market, consolidating family-owned businesses to provide integrated plumbing, HVAC, and electrical solutions.
- The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved these and five other projects, creating a total of over 1,300 new jobs statewide, reflecting continued confidence in Ohio's manufacturing sector.
