The world's best speedway drivers competed in two World Championship races in Manchester over the weekend. The first was won by local Daniel Bewley on Friday, and on Saturday by defending champion Bartosz Zmarzlik of Poland, who also leads the season's standings after five races.
Max Fricke won the sprint race at the Speedway-GP in Manchester, but got to feel the hardness of the K.o. races in the main race, while Dan Bewley drove out of them to victory.
