Limestone shipments on the Great Lakes totaled 3.5 million tons in June, up 6.5 percent year over year. June’s increase follows a 6.8 percent drop in May reported by the Lake Carriers’ Association (LCA). According to LCA, June’s loadings were below the month’s five-year average by 1.9 percent.
