Great American Think-Off finalist denied entry to US for debate event

- Betsy Roder, executive director of the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center, said Adeyemi's request was denied twice, stating, "We are deeply disappointed that Solape will not be able to join us."
- To fill the vacancy, the committee invited Minneapolis ideator Julie Iverson to participate as an alternate, and she accepted the invitation for the weekend debate in New York Mills.
- The Think-Off, a philosophy contest, will feature finalists defending their views on the question, "Has the pursuit of happiness made Americans unhappy?" before a live audience on Saturday.
