Grand Rapids Children's Museum prepares to open after fire with 'reimagined' exhibit

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Three weeks after a fire broke out and closed the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, it's reopening Friday — cleaned and ready for kids to enjoy a reimagined exhibit. The flames broke out March 13 in a model chimney prop in the museum’s restaurant exhibit. At the time, firefighters said it looked electrical.
