Patience Makwele The government has cancelled its agreement with US-based 6th Grain Corporation for an AI and satellite imagery-driven crop monitoring system. Agriculture ministry spokesperson Romeo Muyunda says the decision followed a review which found that the agreement did not meet the required legal and procedural requirements. The deal had come under scrutiny over transparency, procurement and local participation.
