The base block increased from 150 to 200 kWh per month for the entire country.
The measure benefits residential users who receive energy subsidies. The consumption limit at a discounted rate returns to 200 kWh per month and avoids a planned reduction in September.
Through Decrees 221 and 223 published in the Official Gazette, the Executive changed the light and gas discounts for users with subsidies. The average increase will be 1.75% in electricity and 1.40% in natural gas.
The government decided to strengthen from September the subsidies for residential electricity consumption. On the one hand, it will raise from 150 to 200 kWh the subsidized block.
