The government approved on Friday the budget for the Romanian School Programme for the school year 2026–2027. The total amount allocated reaches 802.45 million lei, and the measure covers over 1.86 million pupils and preschoolers.
The Government approved, on Friday, the Decision on the establishment of the budget for the implementation of the Romanian School Programme for the period 2023-2029, as well as for the establishment of the budget for the school year 2026-2027. The total budget for the school year 2026-2027 is 802,447,000 lei (approximately 157.4 million euros) and is addressed to a total number of 1,864,474 preschools and pupils.
