BOVAG: more electric cars sold, private individuals dropping out
The number of new electric cars sold in the Netherlands is increasing, according to car industry organisation BOVAG. Last year, 35 percent of all new sales were electric, compared to 31 percent a year earlier. The growth is mainly due to business drivers. Demand from households is decreasing. BOVAG therefore advocates government policy that also makes electric driving more attractive for private individuals.
