A Czech initiative to supply ammunition to Ukraine could see at least as many shells delivered in 2025 as last year, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said on Thursday, Reuters reported.

EU member states have pledged since the beginning of this year to provide additional military support, amounting to 17 billion euros, to Ukraine.

EU leaders vow to continue support for Ukraine but make no concrete pledge

European Union leaders said on Thursday that they will continue to support Ukraine, but they did not immediately endorse a call by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to provide at least 5 billion euros for artillery ammunition purchases.
