State of Minnesota to use third party to audit Medicaid billing
MINNESOTA – Governor Tim Walz says the state of Minnesota will hire a third party to audit billing for 14 Medicaid services considered at high risk for fraud. The state’s Department of Human Services signed a one-year, $2.3 million contract with Optum to flag questionable claims.
