More than 1,600 wildfires have scorched 2.5 million acres, and officials say crews from Oregon, the National Guard and overseas are stretched thin.

SALEM, Ore.–A record 2.5 million acres have already burned in Oregon this year and Governor Tina Kotek is reminding Oregonians there’s still plenty of fire season remaining.
