Planning commissioner speaks out on Hampton quarry project controversy

Carter County Planning Commissioner Gary Bailey received a lot of criticism in Monday's meeting of the Carter County Commission for his efforts at developing a rock quarry without going through the Planning Commission. On Tuesday, Bailey said the land was zoned agricultural and did not require approval from the planners.
