Google Pixel 10a hands-on review: a phoned-in upgrade over the Pixel 9a

Google unveiled the Pixel 10a today and opened pre-orders on Google's website, with models shipping and arriving in retail stores on March 5.
Google's yearly a-series strategy releases a budget-oriented a-series phone as a stripped-down Pixel, with the Pixel 10a bringing Pixel 10 AI camera features and Satellite SOS to the A-series.
Hardware-Wise, both phones share a Tensor G4 processor, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB storage, a 5,100 mAh battery, faster 30 watts wired and 10 watts wireless charging, and a pOLED display hitting 3,000 nits.
$500 price for the Pixel 10a matches the Pixel 9a, featuring a completely flush rear camera, flat back, new Berry and Lavender colors, and a 100 percent recycled aluminum frame with an 81 percent recycled plastic back.
Despite the new features, Google has not confirmed if Pixel 10a capabilities will reach the Pixel 9a, which reviewers say may remain relevant for years, making upgrades harder to justify.
