Google announced a major restructuring of its AI leadership on Wednesday, with veteran executive and Chief Scientist Jeff Dean set to depart after spending 27 years at the company. Google's cloud division recorded $24.8 billion in revenue during the second quarter, marking an 82 percent increase from a year earlier. By comparison, Amazon Web Services (AWS) posted 37 percent growth, while Microsoft Azure reported a 43 percent rise in sales.
