Google Rolls Out Latest AI Model, Gemini 3.1 Pro
Gemini 3.1 Pro improves reasoning with a 77.1% ARC-AGI-2 score, doubling prior model performance and aiding complex problem-solving, Google said.
- This Thursday, Google rolled out Gemini 3.1 Pro in preview via the Gemini app, NotebookLM, and developer platforms including the Gemini API.
- Built from last week's Gemini 3 Deep Think upgrade, Gemini 3.1 Pro incorporates the upgraded core intelligence to improve complex problem-solving, visual explanations, and data synthesis, Google says.
- Benchmarks show Gemini 3.1 Pro scored 77.1% on ARC-AGI-2, more than doubling Gemini 3 Pro's performance, and reached 44.4% on Humanity's Last Exam.
- Developers and enterprises can try Gemini 3.1 Pro via AI Studio, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Android Studio, Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, while consumers test it today in the Gemini app and paid subscribers access NotebookLM.
- While Google's chart shows Gemini 3.1 Pro outscores many rivals, Anthropic's Opus 4.6 still tops the Center for AI Safety text leaderboard and Arena relies on user votes, urging skepticism.
