Go away with ... Rosalee Mayeux
The former high-fashion model says her first comedy gig at the World Famous Comedy Store helped shape stories about motherhood and acting.
Former high fashion model Rosalee Mayeux debuted her stand-up comedy special "Rosalee Mayeux: Model Mom," sharing personal stories about her life as a model, actress, and mother.
Mayeux draws on her Hollywood background for the special, referencing previous acting credits in films including "The Lawnmower Man" and "Blast from the Past."
She launched her stand-up career at the World Famous Comedy Store in West Hollywood, performing in the venue's famous Belly Room, which she described as an "honor."
Resident producer and comedian Jimmy Shin facilitated her set, with Mayeux crediting him for the "fire audience" she enjoyed during her performance at the club.
The special blends her unique professional background with the realities of raising children, offering a comedic perspective on her life as a former model and mother.
