Glenwood Springs Historical Society archive: Before Two Rivers Park

The 1891 bridge is in place, and the new Denver and Rio Grande Railroad bridge is visible spanning the Grand River, now the Colorado River. The abutments for the previous D&RG bridge are visible in the river west of the new bridge. A water tower was located at the junction of the D&RG and Colorado Midland tracks.
