Another suspected case of cholera infection in Poland has been confirmed in the Lublin Voivodeship. Chief Sanitary Inspector Dr. Paweł Grzesiowski reported that the patient is in good condition. Meanwhile, new reports have emerged about a suspected case of cholera in Stargard.
A total of 26 people who had contact with the patient were in quarantine.
Preliminary test results for the patient from Western Pomerania indicate that she does not have cholera. A few days ago, the woman reported to the hospital with symptoms suggesting she may be infected with the disease. However, the threat hasn't completely subsided, as a suspected case of cholera was reported in Lublin on Friday.
