- Panda ordered a detailed inquiry into whether the school management complied with safety rules; teams from the Tribal Development Department will inspect the site and fix responsibility if negligence is found.
- Gadchiroli's co-guardian Minister Ashish Jaiswal expressed sorrow and offered condolences to bereaved families, instructing the administration to provide all necessary support to hospitalized students and pledging action against any guilty parties.
