Girls basketball: BBE Jaguars fall to Braham Bombers in 5A-East final

FOLEY— The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa girls basketball team saw its season end in the Section 5A-East final Tuesday night. Top-seeded Braham beat second-seconded BBE 64-51. Braham (23-6) plays Pine River-Backus for the Section 5A championship at 7:45 p.m. Friday at St. Cloud State University’s Halenbeck Hall. Pine River-Backus (25-4), the top seed in 5A-West, beat No. 2 Cass Lake-Bena 55-51. Cass Lake-Bena finishes the season with a 15-14 record. B…
